Council will not be accepting new building application lodgements for the period 19 May 2025 to 11 July 2025 inclusive. Council recommends you engage the services of a Private Building Certifier. Follow this link to search Rockhampton Building Certification in Google.

Council’s Development Advice Centre remains open and can assist you with general building related matters.

	Referral Agency	Use to lodge a Referral Agency application when the proposed building or structure does not meet the siting requirements under the Queensland Development Code. If you do not wish to submit your application online, please complete this printable version.
	Building Application	Use to lodge a Building Application as defined under the Planning Act 2016. CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
	Building Application - Demolition or Removal	Use to lodge a Building Application for the demolition or removal of a structure as defined under the Planning Act 2016. CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
	Building Application - Swimming Pool or Spa	Use to lodge a Building Application for a swimming pool and/or spa as defined under the Planning Act 2016. CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
